Rick Stanley is a 19 year-old photographer from Bethesda, Maryland. He decided to take a gap year between high school and college to pursue photography and to travel. These images are from the three months he spent in the rainforest of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. While there, he volunteered for Friends of the Osa, a non-profit organization committed to conservation, capacity building, education, and applied science.
